Hugo Freutel was born on May 1, 1961 in Delft. He studied industrial design there for one year but then decided to follow an art course at the Academy of Art in Arnhem instead. In 1990 he finished his course and has been working as a freelance artist ever since. He has more than 20 years experience working as a professional caricaturist for business and private parties, stock markets, etc. His specialties are workshops and political cartoons.
