A visualiser or, as we say nowadays, a stand-up cartoonist, can be a big help during meetings or gatherings of a serious nature in order to capture and translate complex problems into a more comical setting.
By listening closely and drawing fast, visualisers are able to relativize , analyse and comment on subjects at hand. The comical interpretation of serious problems can create distance and therefore make them easier to discuss.
